3D DESIGN STUDY
3D DESIGN
AR
2022

In my second year (2022), I took part in the Prototype Designer Studio class, where I explored how traditional illustration could evolve through emerging digital media. This project gave me the opportunity to experiment with 3D modeling, motion graphics, and augmented reality (AR), combining analogue aesthetics with interactive, immersive design.
Using tools such as Adobe Aero, Adobe Substance 3D Stager, and EyeJack, I translated my illustrations into spatial, dynamic formats. I tested how characters, objects, and visual narratives could behave in three-dimensional space, and how interactivity could enhance user engagement.
This hands-on exploration allowed me to push the boundaries of flat illustration and gain practical experience in integrating storytelling with digital tools. It also helped me better understand how illustration can function across physical and digital environments.
Project Overview
Experimental visual composition exploring form, depth and spatial storytelling using 3D elements.
Design Exploration
The project experiments with geometric forms, lighting and depth to create abstract visual environments that evoke movement and spatial tension.
Outcome
The experiment expands my visual language by combining graphic design principles with three dimensional digital environments.
